Well it has been a few days since I have blogged and some people have been asking what is going on. Well, we are waiting for the lawyers to write up the contracts, then we will all go over them and sign them. It takes time for every rock to be unturned in the contracts. Noah and I are really excited to begin this chapter of out lives with Dave and Flo. As we told you before, they are super cool, just missing one thing!

Many of our friends have been asking all different kinds of questions about surrogacy and how this whole thing works. Well here are some answers:

How did you know Dave & Flo were the right couple?

Well Noah and I had an idea of what we were looking for in a couple. We searched for a while but didn't really find what we were looking for. We kind of took a break and prayed that God would help us find the right couple, and he did!

What if something happens to Dave & Flo, who will take the baby then?

This will all be in our contract, and we are taking applicants to whom might want to adopt, I am just joking, little baby would go to Dave's brother and sister in law. They have a child and live in California also.

Will I have to have sex with Dave?

No, maybe in other countries or in Utah, but no there will be no lovin between Dave and I.

When are you going to start trying?

Well this has a lot to do with the lawyers. Once things are all signed, then we will talk about what month to start in. If things go great with the lawyers then, maybe we would start this month, or next month.

What a trip!

We are home safe and sound! What an amazing trip. I didn't write on Sunday, but I will catch you up. So, Sunday morning we just had a lay low morning at Jeffie's house. We had a yummy breakfast, thank you Jess, and then we packed up and headed to the Irvine Park. We met Dave and Flo there and we all went to the zoo. It was super fun, Scout and Elliott loved it! They had a really fun petting zoo. We fed the goats and even a little deer. It was so cute! After the Zoo, we had some lunch in the park. After lunch, we walked down to the pony ride then rode on the train. Talk about a fun packed day. Dave and Flo are amazing with our kids. Dave is like a big kid himself and Flo is super kind and full of love. They are everything we could want in IP's. So where do we go from here, well, they contact their lawyer, who will contact our lawyer and a way we go!

What a day

So the wait is over, we finally met Dave and Flo. They are an awesome family who are just missing one little thing. The day started with them meeting us at Jeff and Jessie's house. Nate and Scout were playing in the pool so we just chatted, and then got ready for the beach. They are super kind! We had so much fun with them. At the beach, Flo had brought Scout some beach toys and a ball. We played in the sand while Noah and Dave and my brother went surfing. We had so much fun. Then we came back home and put the babies down for a lil snooze while we all just talked and had some snacks. Then we all went out for dinner at this yummy Mexican place.

Kinda funny, we might have freaked them out about the tweekers in our area. We were talking about how some peoples house look like they are having a never ending garage sale, and how some people lives in buses. :) kinda funny.

Well tomorrow is another day and we look forward to the sunshine.

Any Minute

Well today is the day. Noah and I are sitting here with Jeff and Jess and kids waiting here for Dave and Flo. I am kinda nervous, very excited, and hoping that things go really well.
